Operation Motivation

I’ve been really good to myself lately. I’ve always wanted to be one of those people who ran early in the morning to break a sweat. I’ve used the excuse of not having time because of the kids and that song is getting old. Ok, not really an excuse, because it is true for the most part but the more I think about it I can probably come up with creative ways in finding time.

I’m here on a two-week vacation with the family. We spent a few days in Los Angeles, and now here in Hawaii. I’ve taken the opportunity of running/fast walking every single morning. My alarm set at 6am and then off I go with the fresh ocean wind. The more I ran and sweat, a fire inside got going. It’s so exciting and I don’t remember feeling this great in a long time. That fire I’m talking about is the motivation I need and I found it again after burrowed for many years.

Before heading to bed last night I decided to go and workout a little. Next thing I knew I finished a 4 mile in the elliptical machine. Whoa! I could hardly manage 2 blocks of straight run when I started a couple weeks back.

I am so excited to get this going even when I get back home from vacation.

Wow! Good for you. I'm in the process of getting my exercise regime back in gear, so it helps to read about other people doing the same. Keep up the good work!
