Oprah threw a Tea Party and I was invited!

Okay it's not actually Oprah herself, but The Oprah Store hosted a small blogger tea party and I along with my Chicagonista writers were excited to be invited. Who wouldn't be, right?

First off, who knew there was even an actual place? I think a lot of people assume that it is just an online store, but it is situated right across the Harpo Studio. The store is beautiful filled with beautiful things and it was fascinating to even see a corner of Oprah's closet filled with her actual Armanis and Blahniks. I believe proceeds on those goes to charity. I think.

Ok, ok...I'm sure all of you are wondering if Oprah was there. Can you believe that we sat down and discussed on doing a Chicagonista event together?! OMG!

If you believed that at all, then remind me to call and invite you to sit with Michelle Obama, Oprah Winfrey, and me to discuss how else we can conquer the rest of the world together starting with Chicago. I mean really, can you imagine that at all? lol

So I'll keep dreamin' on, but I meant what I said on that video. The knits were deliciously soft and I did take a couple of pieces home. I can't wait to wear them on my upcoming aloha trip!
