Dwibblet and The Magical Amulet

As soon as my 2nd grader found out that he had to write and make a book for a school project, he just knew what he would be writing about. Since he was about 3, he came up with a penguin character named Dwibblet. He loved that name so much that he uses it with anything that needs a screen name. And now, he came up with a story behind that imagined character. His illustrations were as fun as reading his story and he even named his real teacher and all his classmates in it. I am so proud of the book and was given an A+. I wanted to share this with you guys and I hope that you will enjoy reading it.

Hi MJ, was at Jane's noticed your callsign and busybody over.
Nice blog and enjoyed reading about Dwibblet. Real cute and fantastic imagination too.
Looks like another Stephen Spielberg or maybe Ang Lee in the making, ha ha.
Motivate him and who knows...lots of children grow up to be what they like when young.
My son when young loves to take things apart...I happen to buy him a toy set of various tools after he saw me fooling around with my car.
And at 4 years old he started dismantling his toys to find out how they work as well draw things with his imagination.
Today he holds a degree in Robotics and a Degree in Aerospace Engineering...AND? Yes, he opening plane electronic instruments trouble shooting.
Love your kids drawings.
You stay easy and have a nice day, MJ.
By the way, you sure one very attractive lady. Ahemmm. Lee.

That is so mature of him. Awesome story and drawings. You're great at anything you do as well. . Roan started to make his own story and draws some pictures, like you, I am a proud Mama. I have no art in my bones so I guess, he takes it from Rodney.

That is awesome. Especially good drawings for a boy...or maybe it's just my boy that makes all of his people look like balloons with Mr. Bill eyes.

Anyway, perhaps we should cross-breed your son and my daughter someday... we'd wind up with a Picasso grandchild.

**kristy** Oh that is so sweet! I would love to see some of his writings! Children write with so much honesty and we really get to know them even better by seeing and reading their own work(s). Thanks for visiting the site and I'll come by soon.

**manager mom** An arranged marriage huh?! Oh wait you just said cross breed ...who's talking about marriage? hehe...well in that case! Thanks for coming by!

**cindyfey** Extremely proud! Thanks for taking the time in reading. BTW - how are you my fellow chicagoan like our weird wintery weather? Almost hard to believe that it is only a few days away from June.

I love hats and don't love shorts so I'm okay with it. Did you read it was 100 degrees in SF the other day?!! Besides my gardening friend Christina says the cool weather is keeping the crabapples in bloom - the flowering trees have been gorgeous this year.
